Ollie Faye Lancaster

January 1, 1938 — May 20, 2020

Ollie Faye Lancaster of Eatonton, Georgia, 82 years of age gained her precious angel wings May 20, 2020. She was at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia. She did not die of Covid-19.
Faye was born January 1, 1938 in Remerton, Georgia to the late Ollie J and Estelle (Cowart) DeLoach. Faye loved living on the lake and working in her flowers when she could. She enjoyed going to Estate and Yard sales, shopping at Belk’s with her daughter, enjoying her great grandson Brantley and visiting Valdosta when she could. She attended Concord Methodist Church in Eatonton, Georgia.
Faye lived with her son Wayne, who was her caregiver for the past 13 years. She was loved by everyone who met her. She was not shy and would introduce herself to everyone at every Remerton Reunion, funeral, church anywhere with a big hug and a smile. Her family was the most important people in her life. She taught her children that you take things one day at a time and you do what you have to get through it. She was the rock of the family. Faye's Dash between her beginning and end dates represents so many great things she has done and memories she has left to the ones behind.
Ralph met her at the Eastern Gate when she got to her eternal home. What a reunion they are having.
Survivors include her son Wayne Lancaster of Eatonton, Georgia, daughter Diane Lancaster Mitchell of Locust Grove, GA; grandson Kyle (Camellia) Mitchell; great grandson Brantley of Monticello, GA; brothers-in-law Don McAfee of Fayetteville, Joe Smith of Valdosta, Georgia; sister-in-law Ramona DeLoach. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ralph Lancaster; sisters, Alma DeLoach Hingson, Dorthy DeLoach Smith, Lyndia DeLoach McAfee and brother Nelson DeLoach.
