NORVELL L. FUTCH, 87, of Hahira died Sunday, June 26, 2005 at his home. He was born on October 28, 1917 in Hahira to the late Perry L. and Neppie Cowart Futch. Mr. Futch was a lifelong member of Salem United Methodist Church and a retired farmer and grocery store owner.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons in law, Elaine Copeland Hodges, Karen and Dennis Tomlinson, Debbie and Greg Tillman all of Hahira, his grandchildren and their spouses, Raymond and Beth Copeland, Max Copeland, Lyn and Jesse Williams, Kevin and Karen Tomlinson, Dana and Bryan Chandler, Heath and Rebecca Tomlinson, Allison and Garnet McMillan, Ashley Tillman and Julie Tillman, 13-great grandchildren, his sister, Inez Lewis of Alachua, Fla., sister in law, Laura Folsom of Hahira, very special nieces and nephews, Linda Fiveash, Ronnie Folsom, Donnie Folsom and Jan Anderson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Folsom Futch.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at Salem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Houseal, Rev. Ken Williams and Rev. Ken Dykes officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 7-9pm at the funeral home.
