Nina Lee Vickers Mott

Nina Lee Vickers Mott, 83, of Hahira died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman after a brief illness. She was born in Hahira on November 29, 1930 to the late Willie West and Willmina Sharpe Vickers and had lived in Pompano Beach, Florida before moving back to Hahira in 1973. Mrs. Mott was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church and was a very devoted mother and grandmother who loved caring for her family and others.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons in law, Vicki and Mathew Lindsey, Jr. of Hahira, Robin Lee Mott of Valdosta, Cindy and Henry Wynn, III of Boston, GA, son and daughter in law, Bill and Mary T. Mott of Hahira, nine grandchildren, Robert Lindsey, Ryan Lee Mott, J. T. Wynn, Jon Wynn, Sunnie Dee Wynn, Dillon Mott, Devon Mott, Zach Hawkins and Lauren Hawkins, two brothers, Jimmie Vickers and Jerry Vickers both of Hahira, her uncle, Robert Vickers of Hahira, sister in law, Myra Mott Hanna of Avon Park, FL, special friends, Dean Turner and Faye Watson both of Hahira, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Mott and a brother, Fred R. Vickers.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, December 14, 2013 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with Chaplain Michael Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Hahira. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the Martin/McLane Funeral Home.
