NELLIE MAE HOWELL WYNN

NELLIE MAE HOWELL WYNN, 97, of Hahira died Thursday, December 2, 2004 at Memorial Hospital of Adel after a lengthy illness. She was born in Hahira on June 12, 1907 to the late Roland G. and Fannie Mae Wetherington Howell and was a lifelong resident of Hahira. Mrs. Wynn was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and a retired seamstress with Belks.

Survivors include three sons, Milton Eugene Wynn, Jr. of Madison, GA., Roland Franklin Wynn of Hahira, John Eston Wynn of Cleveland, GA., one daughter, Hazel Wynn Bennett of Adel, one sister, Alma Player of Hahira, 10-grandchildren, Debbie W. Mobely of Dahlonega, Daniel E. Wynn of Bushnell, Fla., Douglas E. Wynn of Blairsville, GA., Major Milton E. “Chip” Wynn, III of Hershey, PA., Kathy W. Hutchinson of Valdosta, Gayle W. Taylor of Hahira, Wanda B. Hendley of Griffin, GA., Terri B. Webb of Adel, Cindy B. Branton of Moultrie and Scott A. Bennett of Warner Robins, GA., 19-great grandchildren, 3-great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lester C. Howell and two sisters, Emma Register and Myrlee LeGette.

Graveside services will be held at 11am, Saturday, December 4, 2004, at Fellowship Cemetery in Cecil with Rev. John Hendley officiating.
