Neita Milton Webb Cook97, went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2004. She was born in Brooks County, on August 22, 1907 to the late William H. Milton and Claudia R. Milton. She spent most of her life in Lowndes County, was very devoted to her family, and enjoyed being involved in the church activities, especially in serving as a Sunday School teacher which she did for more than 50 years. She was a church pianist for 23 years at Pyle Baptist Church (now Westside Baptist Church.) Mrs. Cook was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was the oldest member. She was employed at Norwood Printing Company for 25 years as a linotype operator. <br> <br>She is survived by one son and daughter in law, Milton and Mary Webb of Valdosta; a daughter and son in law, Mary and Wassie Griffin of Gainesville FL; daughters, Merle W. Downing, Martha W. McCabe, both of Valdosta, Elizabeth C. Nicolai and Ruth C. Adams both of Baker, Louisiana; numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. One niece, Emily D. Pensol and several great and great great nephews, all of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husbands, C.A. (Bill) Webb and T. Lester Cook, one sister, Bernice M. Dixon.<br><br> Funeral services will be held at 11am, Thursday, November 18, 2004 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:30-8:30pm at the funeral home. Carson McLane Funeral Home. <br><br><br><br><br><br><br>
