Nancy M. Law, 79, of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Langdale Hospice House following a lengthy illness. She was born on July 23, 1939 in Casper, Wyoming to the late Ernest and Myrtle Gettle Masters and has been a resident of Valdosta since 1970. She served as a legal secretary for the District Attorney’s office for most of the 1970’s until the mid to late 1980’s. Nancy loved her pets, the great outdoors and working in her garden. She attended the Abundant Life Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Fae and Ronnie Millier of McKinney, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, Ron Euler and Carolyn Krug; a daughter, Beth Ellis; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Charles Newbern all of Valdosta; 9 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Bill Hendrich of Waxahachie, Texas; one niece and one nephew both of Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Law.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. A private family committal will follow the service.
