Nancy Louise Johnson Allen

Nancy Louise Johnson Allen, 84, of Valdosta, died on Monday, March 4, 2024, at South Georgia Medical Center.   She was born on April 7, 1939, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late William Franklin Sr., and Nancy Luane Roberts Johnson.  Nancy was a retired bookkeeper having worked for several CPA firms in Valdosta and well as Valdosta Tech.  She enjoyed her church, spending as much time with her grandchildren as she possibly could, and was a lifelong supporter of Valdosta High School and was proud of being a member of the 1956 State Champion girl’s basketball team for Valdosta High.

Mrs. Nancy is survived by her two sons, Johnny “Possum” Allen and David Allen both of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Tanner Allen, Keaton Allen, Andrew Allen, and Daniel Allen. She was preceded by her husband, John (Jack) Alvin Allen, and six siblings and their spouses, Arminda Morrison, Bill and Jerri Johnson, Bea and James Brantley, Betty and Lester Greene, Thomas and Margie Johnson, and Robert and Peggy Johnson.

Services for Nancy Allen will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Dr. Gary Woods officiating.
