Nadine Elliott, 90, of Hahira, died Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Crestwood Nursing Home. She was born in Thomas County, GA on July 10, 1929 to the late Charlie E. Elliott and Alice Corine Pafford Elliott. Nadine was a member of Morven United Methodist Church and attended school in Morven. She lived in Brooks County most of her life. Nadine dearly loved every member of her large family and so many friends she held dear. She rocked several of her nieces and nephews to sleep many years ago and when she did they really needed to go to sleep.
She is survived by four sisters, Wilma Bell and Janie Godwin of Morven, Billie Jean Jarvis of Norman Park and Blanche Hall of Hahira, one brother, Buck Elliott of Macclenny, FL, numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Nadine is predeceased by her sister, Lounette Owens, brother, J. C. Elliott, sisters in law, Laverne Elliott and Virginia Elliott, brothers in law, Ralph Bell, Ralph Hall, Rollins Godwin, W. L. Weeks and Chester Jarvis.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery near Morven. The family will receive friends from ten until eleven a. m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at www.mclanecares.com.
