Msgt Millard P. Brown (Ret)

MSGT Millard P. Brown (RET), 69 of Valdosta died on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at his residence after a lengthy illness. Born on November 22, 1935 in Wheeler County, GA, he was the son of the late John and Mary Jones Brown. He retired from the Air Force and the Civil Service. Mr. Brown attended Trinity Presbyterian Church.


He is survived by his wife, Linda Brown of Valdosta, daughters and sons-in-law, Denice and Brent Vickery of Valdosta, Dena and Paul Davis of Byron; stepsons and their wives, Jeff and Judy Bickers, Bill and Libby Bickers all of Valdosta; eight grandchildren; a brother, Cleon and Shirley Brown of McRae and a half brother, James Brown of Savannah. He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2005 at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Reverend Richard Hart officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 21, 2005 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
