Mrs. Jimmie Lee Wilson

JIMMIE LEE WILSON, 78, of Valdosta died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at the Brooks County Hospital in Quitman. She was born on August 27, 1928 in Lowndes County and was the daughter of the late Harmon Nichols and Minnie Terry Nichols Kerry and was a lifelong resident of Lowndes County. Mrs. Wilson was a longtime member of the Sardis Baptist Church in Echols County. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Woodrow Wilson.

Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Jean Brantley Reynolds of Ray City, Linda Ann Taylor of Naylor and Barbara Wilson of Wyoming, two sons and a daughter in law, James R. and Bonnie Wilson of Texas and Richard D. Wilson of Bainbridge, 13-grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and one sister, Connie Kerry Cammarose of Louisiana.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, October 21, 2006 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Garvie Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
