Miss Wilby Christian Coleman

Miss Wilby Christian Coleman of Valdosta died on Monday 14th 2014 at the age of 60. Miss Wilby was born to Wilby Compton Coleman and Gretchen Christian Eberhardt on the 10th of December in 1953. She was raised by Wilby Coleman and Gloria Mederer Coleman, who gracefully entered into Miss Wilby's life when she was 16 years old. She graduated from Valdosta High School in 1971 and attended the University of Georgia where she earned her bachelor's degree in Art in 1976.
Miss Wilby was very proud to be a part of her family and she cherished our unique traditions. She was a tender and sentimental woman who treasured fond memories with her siblings, parents, children, and friends. She leaves behind her father, Wilby Coleman, three brothers, Compton, Chris, and Justin, and her sister, Sallyann. She is also survived by her three children, Wilby, Molly, and Chappell and three grandchildren Skylar, Aiden, and Aerie.
Miss Wilby will be remembered for her creative spirit, contagious laugh, keen sense of humor, and her dedication to her family. Her accomplishments were in her mothering, art, and music. She played guitar and sang with her band at 17 Hahira Pick-Ins. May she be adored and remembered for her best self.
Please join the family for a celebration of her life at the home of Wilby Coleman at 1203 Hickory Drive at 5:30 pm on Saturday, April 19th.
