Miriam Felts Jackson, 90, of Valdosta, died on Sunday, January 10, 2010, at Heritage Health Care in Moultrie. Born in Roberta, Georgia, on July 24, 1919, Miriam was the daughter of the late John Allen and Beulah Harris Felts. She was the widow of the late Dr. Robert Fanning Jackson. A member of the Lake Park United Methodist Church, Mrs. Jackson was very active in United Methodist Women and other church activities. She loved the game of Bridge.
Survivors are her son and daughter in law, Robert William and Pat Jackson of Marietta, daughter and son in law, JoAnna and Gary Cooksey of Adel; four grandchildren, Michael Felts, Michelle Daughtery, Renee Davis and Heather Cashwell; great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Jessica Cashwell, Trent and Brandon Davis, Will and Kaylyn Aaron, Jordan Felts, Anna and Tom Daughtery; a sister, Clairice Krieg of Cincinatti, Ohio.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Lake Park United Methodist Church. Dr. William Warnock will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn City Cemetery in Adel.
