Minnie Tom Johnson Coker

MINNIE TOM COKER, 85, of Valdosta died Thursday, June 30, 2005 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. She was born in Brooks County on September 16, 1919 to the late Thomas V. and Minnie Patrick Johnson. Mrs. Coker was a Presbyterian and a retired interior decorator.

Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Michael and Mary Coker of Valdosta, a daughter and son in law, Marsha and Ken Newsome of Jennings, Fla., four grandchildren, Marshall T. Coker, Melody M. Coker, Trixie Newsome and Kendall Newsome. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall H. Coker.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Friday, July 1, 2005 at Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Carson McLane Funeral Home.
