MILTON O. BRANTLEY, 83, of Remerton died Sunday, January 21, 2007 at his home. He was born in Remerton on July 8, 1923 to the late Corley and Sally DeLoach Brantley and was a lifelong resident of Remerton. Mr. Brantley was a Methodist and retired from Belflower Pharmacy as a sales and delivery person. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Grace S. Brantley of Remerton, three stepchildren, Jay Perryman of Valdosta, Taylor Perryman of Florida and Starr P. (Richard) Epstein of Snellville, six grandchildren, Tracie (Nick) Gross, Andrew Johnson, Ricky Epstein, Annie Lee Perryman, Ronald Perryman and Scott Perryman, 6-great grandchildren, one brother and sister in law, Ralph and Lynne Brantley of Valdosta, three sisters and two brothers in law, Nita Mae Weeks of Valdosta, Ava Nell and Bobby Riggs of Lake Park and Maxine and Ron Espick of Niles, Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Melba Williams, Inez Lee and Martha Ann Jones and two brothers, Leonard Brantley and Ronnie Brantley.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, January 24, 2007 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Loyce Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
