MILTON M. RUSS, 72, of Hahira died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at Smith Northview Hospital. Mr. Russ was born in Memphis, Tennessee on December 2, 1931 to the late Matthew and Katie Russ and had lived in Hahira since 1997. He was a graduate of the University of Florida where he played football for the Florida Gators and also played pro football for the Orlando Bronco’s. Mr. Russ was also a graduate of Tennessee Temple Divinity School and was a retired Baptist Minister. He was a member of the Conway Baptist Church in Orlando, Fla.
Survivors include his wife, Jerrilyn Rollins Russ of Hahira, his daughter, Rebecca West of Cocoa Beach, Fla., his stepchildren, Alan Clendenin of Tampa, Fla., Kimela Titone of Ormond Beach, Fla., his grandchildren, Corey Saussy, Jessica Brown, Nikki and Killian Brown, step grandchildren, Trey Titone, Tyler Clendenin, Brianna Clendenin and Brynn Titone, a son in law, Joe Brown of Orlando, Fla., his mother in law, Virginia Lewis of Hahira, his brother in law, Mike Lewis of Hahira and aunts, Sylvia Parker, Fron Johnson and Verna Glass. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ramona Brown.
Graveside services will be held at 11am, Thursday, October 14, 2004 at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Jim Stroud of Knoxville, Tennessee officiating.
