Milton Henry Daniels

Milton Henry Daniels, 59, of Pearson, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.

He was born on June 22, 1957, in Miami, FL, a son of the late Dennis Preston Sr. and Angelina (D'Agostino) Daniels. He graduated from Atkinson County High School in the 1970's. After graduating he joined the United States Marine Corp where he worked as a tank crewman. Henry was also very proud of his service in the United States Marine Corp. After his time in the service, Henry worked as a carpenter for Eagle Trace Mobile Homes. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, doing yardwork, gardening, and fishing. He loved his animals, his Big Blue truck and his Ford flatbed truck.

Mr. Daniels is survived by his wife, Virginia (Lancaster) to whom he was married for 21 years; daughter, Virginia Hooper of Waycross, GA; stepson, Steven Simmons of Hazelhurst, GA; grandchildren, Megan, Jessica, Ryan, Kayla, and Hart; great grandchildren, King, Emily, and Matthew; sisters, Jeannie (Daniels) Whitney of Birmingham, AL, Mary (Daniels) Graybeal of Joshua, TX; brother, Dennis Preston Jr., of Navarre, FL.

Aside from his parents he is pre-deceased in death by his brother Louis Daniels and his sister Vicky.
