Mildred S. Lupinek

Mildred S. Lupinek, 91, of Valdosta, Georgia, graduated into glory on April 1, 2012. Her legacy of life in Jesus is left to her children, Bob (Nancy) Lupinek, Lorraine (Bill) Craven, Thomas Lupinek, Peter (Patsy) Lupinek, Daniel (Ginny) Lupinek, James (Karen) Lupinek, Lewis (Dawn) Lupinek; two step children, Eddie (Audrey) Lupinek, Helen (Frank) Ferrari; eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis J. Lupinek.
Mildred's first birth was on February 15, 1921. She was born in Middletown, Connecticut, the daughter of the late Henry and Grace Sears Smith. She was Born Again 18 years later! Mildred served this country with the U.S. Army during World War II in the Philippines. She taught elementary school in Edgewater, Florida and moved to Valdosta in 2002. She was a member of Ousley Baptist Church. Mildred enjoyed her children and grandchildren and she loved traveling and volunteering for her church. We love and miss you, Mom! We will be reunited in our eternal home with our LORD Jesus Christ due to His perfect sacrifice on the cross. Amen. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea… Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Dr. Clyde Stokes will officiate. Burial will follow at Ousley Baptist Church Cemetery.
