Mildred R. Pike, 84, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at her residence. Born January 3, 1921, in Clinch County to the late Lee Owen Autry & Gollie Mae Roe Autry. Mrs. Pike was a homemaker and a member of Greenwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Pike of Valdosta; two sisters, Leola Carter Fann, of Alma, and Margaret Smith of Valdosta; two sisters in law and a brother in law, Charles & Annie Ruth Allen and Eldora Pike, all of Valdosta and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pike is preceded in death by her husband, David Alton Pike, and a sister Myrtle Anderson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pike will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. Pastor Benny Woods will officiate. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
