Mildred Newberry

Mildred Newberry, 80, of Valdosta, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on October 25, 1927 in Caseyville, Illinois to the late John and Minnie Baldus. Mrs. Newberry was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters and sons in law, Kathleen and Mickey Corbett of Lake Park, Beth and Russell Bland of Valdosta, one son and daughter in law, Donald and Patsy Newberry of Murfreesboro, TN, six grandchildren, Zack Corbett and his girlfriend, Maegan Carter, Kristy Boyer and her husband, Tom, Julie Bland and her fiancé, Bob Doner, Burge Newberry, Bradley Newberry and his wife, Holly and Brandon Newberry, three great grandchildren, Ashlyn Newberry, Amanda Newberry and Rowan Boyer, one brother, Melvin Baldus of Belleville, IL. Mrs. Newberry is preceded in death by her husband, William Donald Newberry.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 4, 2008 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Mickey Corbett officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
