Mildred Irene Johnson

Mildred Irene Johnson born on August 2, 1925 in Quitman, GA, went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church of Quitman. Mildred was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and the best cook in Quitman, GA. She will truly be missed by everyone.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband Harold Johnson, her mother and father Isley and Henry Howard, brothers Hiram, Durwood, Royce, and Allen Howard, sister Sadie Poole, granddaughter Jill Johnson, grandsons Hal and Nick Johnson, son-in-law Jim Crosier, and brother-in-law Bobby Edmondson. She is survived by her sons Dennis, Donnie, Dusty (Marie), Bugsy (Risé) Johnson, and daughters Diane (Gene) Conrad and Debbie Crosier. Her grandchildren Bryan (Susan) Johnson, Isley Johnson, J.J. (Erich) Haupt, Justin (Alanna) Conrad, Joel (Lily) Conrad, Shaun (Scott) LeBlanc, Neil (Katie) Johnson, Alex Johnson, Adrianna Johnson; her great grandchildren, Luke and Noah Johnson, Rylinn and Rhys Haupt, John, Noelle, Holly, and Cara Conrad, Brayden and Jolie LeBlanc, Dallas and Peyton Johnson, Leighton and Libby Johnson. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Alice Hall, Edna Edmondson, and Wylene Brown, and one brother Virgil Howard.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Northside Baptist Church of Quitman. A private family committal will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11am. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclanecares.com
