Michael L. Brister

Michael L. Brister, 53 of Valdosta died on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 in the Atlanta area. He was born on February 17, 1951 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late George Leonard and Martha Ellen Scott Brister and had lived in Valdosta for thirteen years. Mr. Brister was retired from the U. S. Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller and currently employed with Swift Trucking Company. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Chae Brister of Valdosta, his brother and sister in law, Jack and Charlotte Brister of Tavares, Fla., his nephew and his wife, Lowell and Laura Brister and their children.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2004 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Smith of Bethany Baptist Church and Pastor Lee of the Korean Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
