Melba Rea Hall

MELBA REA HALL, 71, of Hahira died Sunday, January 7, 2007 at her home. She was born on August 3, 1935 in Hahira to the late John Duncan LeGette and Myrlee Howell LeGette and was a lifelong resident of Hahira. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Hahira United Methodist Church. She was retired from the Citizens Community Bank and was a devoted mother who made many sacrifices.

Survivors include her son, Travis Hall of Hahira, six sisters, Ellen Hand of Little Rock, Ark., Billie Dean Griffis of Adel, Faye Radford of Hahira, JoAnne Sawyer of Valdosta, Marlene Daugherty of Hahira and Alene Griffin of Lake Park and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Evangeline LeGette and a brother, Charles D. LeGette.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, January 9, 2007 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with Elder Dwight Marshall and Elder Thad Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
