Mauralita Lisondra Lathron, 82, of Valdosta, passed away on January 13, 2020 at Fellowship Home following a period of declining health. She was born on May 3, 1937 in Badian, Philippines to the late Marcelino and Maximina Elegino Lisondra. She was a homemaker but had also worked for many years as an Avon representative. Mrs. Lathron lived life to the fullest and approached all family events with her children and grandchildren with great zeal and exuberance. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Lathron of Valdosta; a daughter and son-in-law, Riza and Jun Alegre of Lee, Florida; a son and daughter-in-law, Zaldy and Myrna Andagan of Valdosta; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three step-daughters, Debra Martin, Denise Steele, and Darlene Steele; one step-son, David Lathron; six step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild; a sister, Primitiva Borromeo and a brother, Buenaventura Lisandra both of the Philippines. She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren and nine siblings.
A memorial service for Mauralita Lisondra Lathron will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Rev. Brian LaBurt officiating.
