Mattie Jerrell Warren Daniels, 88, of Valdosta died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Fellowship Home. She was born in Cadwell, Laurens County, GA on July 4, 1925 to the late General Otha Warren and Nora Frances Scarborough Warren Griffis. Mrs. Daniels was a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Annette and Ed Woodruff of Hahira, two grandsons and their wives, William and Penny Labahn of Fairbanks, Alaska and Robert and Mandi Labahn of Kerrville, Texas, five great grandchildren, Zoey Labahn of Kerrville, TX, Victoria, Korben, Levi and Pierce Labahn of Salt Lake City, UT, one brother, Jack Warren of Adel, three sisters and one brother in law, Doris Lairsey of Palm Coast, FL, Lois Jackson of Mayday, Joy and George Smith of Lake Mary, FL, numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Daniels is preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Daniels and one sister, Opal Merriman.
Services for Mrs. Daniels will be held Sunday, March 2, 2014 at two p. m. in the Magnolia Room Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Chaplain Jeff May officiating. Burial will be at Andersonville National Cemetery. The visitation and viewing will begin one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be conveyed to the family at www.mclanecares.com
