Mary Moore Terrell

Mary Moore Terrell, 69, of Valdosta, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at South Georgia Medical Center.

She was born December 28, 1946 in Jacksonville, Florida, a daughter of the late Ralph and Catherine Wayamsley Moore. Mary was an extremely warm and loving person and is happy now to be with her Lord. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children, Catherine Penny and husband Ron of Randleman, NC, Wanda Garza and companion Bobby Pittman of Valdosta, Lelman Jackson Terrell of Allendale, SC, and Patty Rogers of Hilliard, FL; a brother, Paul Eugene Moore of Callahan, FL; a sister, Naomi Terrell of Williamsburg, VA; a sister-in-law, Cathy Mott of Denver, CO; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dot Smith of Jacksonville, FL, and Mary Elaine Mott of Denver, CO; and two brothers, Robert Mott and Don Eschenbecher, both of Denver, CO.

A Celebration of Mary's Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 in the Chapel of McLane Lakewood Funeral Home, followed by a time to greet the family and share memories until 9:00 p.m. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
