Mary Miller Parrish, 90, of Hahira passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at her home in Hahira. She was born in Geneva County, Alabama on May 25, 1931 to the late Hubert and Pearl Johnson Miller and had lived in Valdosta most of her life. Mrs. Parrish was a member of Northside Baptist Church, where she had many close friends and served the Lord willingly. She loved reading, cooking and sewing. She dearly loved her family and always shared words of wisdom and encouragement.
Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Patti and Mike Welch of Hahira, Janet and Paul Nichols of Valdosta; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Lori Parrish of Hahira; her grandchildren, Leslie and Terry Belanger, Beth and Christopher Cowles, Chad and Krystal Parrish, J. P. Nichols and his fiancé, Caitlyn Koutsky, Haylee Brown, Mitchell Brown, Jordan and Rachel Brown; her great grandchildren, Tanner Belanger, Avery Belanger, Michael Cowles, Rebecca Cowles, Cohen Parrish, Barrett Brown, London Brown, Lucas Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Lester Parrish, Jr., her sister Jean Walker (J.W) and beloved step-mother Abline Miller.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Friendship Cemetery in Hahira with Rev. Bob Willis officiating.
