Mary Miller Hammock

Mary Miller Hammock, 76, of Clyattville died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was born in Echols County, Georgia on July 14, 1939 to the late Durrell and Agnes Padgett Miller. Mrs. Hammock was a member of the Pinetta First Baptist Church and a retired para-professional from Clyattville Elementary School. She was an avid camper, gardening, tending her flowers, crocheting and bowling.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Roland F. Hammock; three sons and daughters in law, Alvin and Gwen Hammock, Jeff and Pam Hammock, Kenny and Sherry Hammock; her grandchildren, Dusty Hammock, Dylan Hammock, Tracy (Bari) Cariker, Nikki (Brianna) Barfield, Josh(Brooke) Hammock, Travis Hammock, Nick (Morgan) Hammock, Tyler Hammock, Chelsea Davis, Ethan (Heather) Hammock, Logan(Chris) Helton; her great grandchildren, Hayden Hammock, Adyson Hammock, Jerard (Michelle) Lane, Dillon (Taylor) Lane, Brayden Hammock, Dawson Davis, Eli Helton, Adriana Helton, Caleb Helton, Dacey DeLoach, Jaylen DeLoach; great great grandchild, Kinzlee Lane; two brothers and a sister in law, Charles and Clemtine Miller, Tom Miller and a brother in law, Jerry Corbett; special friends, Richard and Peggy McDonald, Relma Coody, Linda Burkhalter. She is preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Corbett and a daughter in law, Sabrina Hammock.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Harris, Rev. David Paulk and Rev. Jay Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Pinetta, Florida. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
