Mary Margaret Winningham, 64, of Naylor, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Langdale Hospice House.
She was born October 8, 1948, in Nashville, GA, a daughter of the late Ralph Lamar and Edith Mathis Lindsay. She was a member of Mt Zion United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Winningham, a daughter and son-in-law, Tami Robinson (Dean), Middleburg, FL; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Lester Donald Winningham (Vicki), Alexandia, VA; Jack Daniel Winningham (Alisa), Valdosta; James R. Winningham, Jr., Naylor; a step-daughter, Traci Jean Winningham, Hamptons, NY; two step-sons, Charles Michael Winningham, Sunrise, FL; Richard E. Winningham, Coleman, FL , one sister Marjorie Capps (Larry) Nashville, GA. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Zachary, Nathan, Nicholas, Abigail, Austin, Aiden, Addison, Taylor, James, Rebecca, Olivia, Ciarra and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Lindsay.
The funeral service for Mrs. Winningham will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Schappaugh officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the funeral home.
