Lou was born May 31, 1923 in New York City. While helping with the war effort during World War II, she met and married Lt. Richard (Andy) Andrew. They shared a joyful sixty one years together.

From scout leader, Sunday school teacher, piano lessons, PTA, playing baseball in the backyeard, Lou was always there, along with Andy, giving her children a rich, wonderful childhood.

Lou also nurtured a long, loving marriage with Andy. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with the family at a cabin in the north in 1996. They were each others best friend, loving and enjoying their time together. The great love they shared spilled over to those in their presence, making it so enjoyable to be with them. Their relationship was one to be admired.

Lou’s greatest joy was to be surrounded by her friends and family. She loved a party. She loved to laugh and to entertain.
