Mary Lou Fiveash DeLoach, 84, of Valdosta, died at Heritage House Nursing Home on Monday, April 16, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Born in Hahira in 1922, she was the daughter of the late Charlton Augustus and Willie Alice Tomlinson Fiveash. She was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. DeLoach was a Baptist.
Survivors are her daughter and son in law, Mary Lutz and David Fisher of Valdosta; sons and daughter in law, Hugh and Dianne DeLoach of Americus, Tommy DeLoach of Valdosta, sisters, Iris Register of Valdosta, Dorris Hulett of Valdosta, brother and sister in law, Vernon and Helen Fiveash of Alturas, Florida; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Virgil H. DeLoach, Sr., brothers, Elmo Fiveash, George Fiveash, C. A. Fiveash, Raymond Fiveash, and sisters, Helen Natch and Pearl Lang.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2007, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Reverend Hugh DeLoach and Reverend Gary Folds will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens.
