Mary Lilla Dumas

Mary Lilla Ellenberg Dumas, 95, of Morven, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023. She was born in Brooks County, Georgia on October 15, 1927 to the late Griff and Bessie Wright Ellenberg. Mrs. Dumas enjoyed cooking, made excellent biscuits, fishing in the river, and providing for her family. She was a homemaker and member of the Methodist Church of Morven.

Mrs. Dumas is survived by her children, Bill Dumas, of Brooks County, Bobby Dumas (Patsy Tyson) of Hahira, and Cindy Graham (Steve), of Steinhatchee, FL; her grandchildren, Thomas Hodgin, of Kannapolis, NC, Shannon Rillorazza (Relo), of Harrisburg, NC, Ashley Brown, of Lake Park, GA, and Matt Huling (Angelique), of Lake Park, GA, Travis and Christine Graham, Abigail and Caleb Munger; her great grandchildren, Lane Butler, of Valdosta, Addison Huling and Aubriella Beverly, of Lake Park, GA, Sawyer Huling, of Lake Park, GA, and Warner Brown, of Lake Park, GA, Carrah Graham, Chandler Kate Munger, and Charlie Rose Munger; and many nieces and nephews also survive. She is preceded in death by her husband Howard Denton Dumas, her parents, and brothers, Jack Ellenberg, Bernice Ellenberg, Butch Ellenberg, and David Ellenberg.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Campground Cemetery in Morven, GA, with Brother Ronnie Taylor officiating.
