Mary L. Naylor

Mary L. Naylor, 91, of Dasher, passed Friday, July 30, 2010, at Lakehaven Nursing Home.

She was born April 5, 1919 in Monroe County, OH, a daughter of the late Ira A. and Lizzie Johnson McMullen. Mrs. Naylor was a member of Dasher Church of Christ, and for many years, had been employed at Georgia Christian School, first in the laundry and later in the lunchroom, helping to put her children through the school. She loved her church and the school, and she enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Naylor also enjoyed quilting and crocheting.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Julian (Jubie) Copeland of Dasher; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Faye Naylor of Readyville, TN, Bill and Lydia Naylor of Dasher, and Jimmy and Sandy Naylor of Pike Road, AL; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Erma Dunlap of Uhrichsville, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend and roommate at Lakehaven, Willie Mae Robinson. She was predeceased by her husbands, Carl Naylor and Howard Naylor.

Mrs. Naylor's family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home, Lake Park. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010 at West Union Cemetery, Gilmore, OH.
