Mary Katherine Stephenson Hafner

Mary Katherine Stephenson Hafner, 84 of Ocala, FL, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 in Rome, GA. Born on July 2, 1920 in Remerton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Irene Harris Stephenson of Valdosta. She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard & Tammy Hafner of Calhoun, GA; granddaughters, Meagan Hafner of Calhoun, GA, Jennifer Leal and her husband Jeff of Newport Ritchie, FL and Valerie White of Chatsworth, GA; great grandchildren, Brittany and Cole Leal and Cullen and Elise White; sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Jim Parker of Jennings, FL, Joyce Johnson of Thomasville, GA, Dorothy and Dale Charos of Valdosta, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon and Marion Stephenson of Lake Park, GA, Hugh and Betty Stephenson of Quitman, GA, Leland Stephenson of Valdosta, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hafner, Sr., son, Craig Hafner of Panama City, FL and brothers Willard Stephenson and Lankford Stephenson of Valdosta.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 4, 2005 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Dr. Wayne Dorsett officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
