Mary "Janie" Linville

Mary “Janie” Linville, 72, of Valdosta passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Fellowship Home. She was born in Paris, Kentucky on January 27, 1947 to the late Cecil and Mary Mitchell Puckett and had lived in Valdosta since 2003. Mrs. Linville was a member of House of Joy and loved serving people with her hospitality and food. She worked in foster care for more than twenty years.
Survivors include her three daughters and two sons in law, Kelly Preston of Paris, KY, Polly and Kelly Barcol of Valdosta, Connie and Jared McWilliams of Minot, ND; seven grandchildren, Rebecca Preston, David Preston, Alex Preston, Elizabeth Preston, Summer Preston, Andrew Preston all of Paris, KY, Joshua Barcol of Los Angeles, CA; two great grandchildren, Dawson Preston, Raelynn Johnson; two sisters, Pearl Buckler of Paris, KY and Edith (Cee-Bo) Puckett of Kingman, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Emery Linville.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Legion Park Pavilion in Paris, Kentucky with Pastor Kelly Barcol officiating.
