Mary Helen Mcdonald

Mary Helen McDonald, 84, of Hahira died on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at her home. She was born on June 13, 1928 to the late Etheridge and Corine Futch Fielding and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker and helped her husband farm. She was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sons and daughter in law, Leon McDonald, Robert and Becky McDonald, her daughters and sons in law, Carol and Darryl Callahan, Mary and Jim Hurd, Kay and Gene Gray all of Hahira, her sister, Doris Sumner of Adel, sister in law, Ruby Daughdrill of Valdosta, grandchildren, Kimberly (David) Hogan, Johnny (Ragan) Duggan, Jennifer Holt, Michelle McDonald, Chuck (Chelsea) McDonald, Leslie (Shannon) Lyons, Shawn (Dee) McDonald, Kyle McDonald, twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard S. McDonald and a son, Johnny McDonald.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Thursday, February 7, 2013 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Brinson Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery.
