Mary Elizabeth Lobaugh Bruch

MARY ELIZABETH LOBAUGH BRUCH, 81, of Valdosta died Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. She was born on November 23, 1926 in Las Animas, Colorado to the late Ray and Dorothy Keele Lobaugh and had lived in Valdosta for several years. Mrs. Bruch was a registered nurse and a member of the Northside Baptist Church. She graduated from Iola Kansas High School in 1944 and then attended Nurses Training and became a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital in Parsons, Kansas in 1947. She lived and worked in Colorado Springs, Colorado for many years and was licensed
in Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Arizona and Georgia.


Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Marvin and Margaret Bruch of Valdosta, Michael and Melody Bruch of Olathe, Kansas, her grandchildren whom she loved and adored, Tom (Jen) Harl, Ryan (Kathi) Bruch, Katie (John) Gomez, Susan (Chris) Shelton, Tim Bruch, Kristen Bruch, Erick Bruch, Misty (John) Reed and Megan Mullens, her great grandchildren, Mitchell and Kate Harl, Ashley and Amanda Cox, Jacob Bruch, Laurilai Gomez, Khayla Gomez, Elijah Gomez, Miayah Gomez, Makayla Daugherty, Kylie Daugherty, Trent Reed, Vance Reed, Rylee Reed and Logan Mullens.

Memorial services will be held at 2pm, Thursday, November 20, 2008 in the Northside Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Bob Willis officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Northside Baptist Church Building Fund, 200 E. Park Ave., Valdosta, GA 31602.
