Mary Ann Becton Smith

Mary Ann Becton Smith, 79, of Valdosta, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at her home. She was born on January 24, 1941 in Brooks County to the late Andrew and Mary Ann Roach Becton. Mary Ann worked at the Bag Plant for Owen-Illinois for many years. She loved to fish and enjoyed taking care of people. She was proud of the life she made and lived it well.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving family including many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Jackson Smith; and several brothers and sisters.
