Marty Allan Hale

Marty Allan Hale, 55, of Lake Park died on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born on August 2, 1958 in Fresno, California and has been a resident of the Lake Park area for almost 2 years. He was employed with Brentag Chemical Company for 28 years and worked in the purchasing department. Marty was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and at one time was ranked 2nd in the United States in flat track motorcycle racing. He loved to listen to music, dance, water and snow ski, basking in the warmth of the sun, bowling, and going to Universal Studios. Marty was a loving son, brother, and uncle as well as being a devoted and trusted friend.

Survivors include his mother, Joyce McIntosh; a sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Robert Fitzgerald; a niece and her fiance, Ashley Fitzgerald and T.J. Morgan ; 2 nephews, Austin Fitzgerald and Rob Fitzgerald all of Lake Park; an aunt and uncle, Charlotte and Marty McFerrin of Fresno, California; an uncle and aunt, Richard Payne and Diana Powell of Chico, California; numerous cousins; close friends, Traci McFerrin, Darwin Dayan, Deo Patrimonio Mantin, Cara Mathews. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Franklin McIntosh; grandparents, Benjamin and Frances Pauline Slaton; grandfather, Sam Cecil Hale; best friend, partner, and soul-mate for 9 years, Justin St.Clair. The family would like to acknowledge with grateful appreciation to Brandon and Meghan Broome for their kindness, friendship, and generosity.
