Martha H. Boyd

Martha H. Boyd, 82, of Valdosta died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Helen, Georgia on January 2, 1930 to the late John Lawton and Sallie Lois Rogers Harrell and had life all of her life in Valdosta. Mrs. Boyd was a member of the Forrest Park Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son, Steve Allen Boyd of Valdosta, a nephew, G. M. Jones of Lawrenceville, GA. and a number of other nieces and nephews, her cousin and spouse, Shelia and Jack Clanton of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. (Bill) Boyd and a brother, John L. Harrell.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Mr. Ray Joyner officiating.
