Martha Ann Jackson

Martha Ann Jackson, 52, of Valdosta, died on Monday, March 16, 2009 at South Georgia Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was born on November 18, 1956 in Valdosta to the late Leo Williams and Clara Vann Williams. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Jackson; a daughter, Kayla D. Jackson both of Valdosta; step-daughter, Kim Azpeitia of Texas; mother, Clara Williams; brother, Johnny Williams; sister, Judy Pittman; brother-in-law, Freddie Jackson; special aunt, Sara White all of Valdosta; special friend, Suzanne Kennedy of Seattle, Washington; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Williams; a son, Chris Sasser; a daughter, Amanda Jackson; a brother, Tommy Williams, and a sister, Renie Smith.

Services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Corbett officiating. The burial will follow in the Joe Howell Cemetery.
