Mark A. Nitschke

Mark Nitschke, 43, of Lee, FL, died on Saturday, July 26, 2008. Born on June 25, 1965 in Valdosta, he had moved to Lee, FL 6 years ago. Mark worked for several years in the grocery business. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish. Mark was of the Church of God faith.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Nitschke of Lee, FL; a son, Christian Nitschke and a daughter, Carolann Nitschke, both of Lee, FL; mother, Sylvia Nitschke; father and stepmother, R.B. and Lucille Nitschke; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Tina Nitschke; grandmother, Agnes Swilley, all of Valdosta. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Mark was preceded in death by his son, Harrison Nitschke, grandfather, P.F. Swilley and grandparents, John Henry and Jessie Nitschke.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Doug Cotton officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Carson McLane Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
