Marjorie Priest Smith

Marjorie Priest Smith, 80, of Valdosta, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018. She was born on December 23, 1937 in Ocilla, Georgia. She served the Valdosta business and education community for 31 years as the owner of Allied Duplicating Products and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Richard Priest and second husband Wilson Smith.
Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Martin and her husband Keith Martin, two granddaughters, Karlie and her husband Philip Braley and Kaycee Martin of Atlanta, a son, Jack Priest and his wife Lynn of Ringgold. She has a sister, Alice Hasty of Tifton. Marjorie loved her family and enjoyed helping others.
She volunteered in the nursery at First Baptist Church of Valdosta for many years and as a Pink Lady at South Georgia Medical Center, as well as, helping friends and family any time they were in need. She was a wonderful cook and some of her favorite recipes are used by her family today.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Reverend Mac Weaver officiating.
