Marjorie "Margie" Wynn

Marjorie "Margie" Wynn, 81, of Hahira died Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on May 6, 1934 in Quincy, Florida and was the daughter of the late Rolph Wheeler Long and Nora Donaldson Long Bettis. Mrs. Wynn was a member of the Hahira United Methodist Church and was retired from Harvey's Supermarket.
Survivors include two daughters and sons in law, Kathy and Gary Hutchinson of Valdosta, Gayle and Steve Taylor of Hahira; grandchildren and their spouses, Kristen and Ivy Dees of Birmingham, AL, Kelly and Joel Pittsley of Carrollton, GA, Preston and Jessica Taylor of Lake Park, Hannah Taylor of Hahira; great grandson, Cole Dees of Birmingham, AL; two sisters and a brother in law, Shirley and Dell Conley of New Smyrna, FL, Nancy Wingerter of Sarasota, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; her longtime companion and friend, Roland Wynn of Hahira; brothers in law and sisters in law, Gene and Ann Wynn of Madison, GA; John and Chris Wynn of Cleveland, GA and Hazel Bennett of Adel. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles Bettis and a sister, Doris Rogers. The family expresses their appreciation to the staff of Fellowship Home and Langdale Hospice for their compassion and care for Mrs. Wynn during in her illness.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 5-7pm at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
