Marjorie Kathryn Crawford

Kathryn Crawford, 87, of Valdosta, died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Valdosta on September 26, 1922 to the late James Arthur Brown and Alma Downing Brown. Mrs. Crawford was retired after thirty three years from Crackin Good Bakery Human Resources and was a member of Gonwood Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Nichols of Valdosta, her son and daughter in law, Larry and Martha Crawford of Dothan, AL, six grandchildren, Felecia Hamilton (John), Loretta Pitts (Ken Allen), Andy Crawford (Stephanie), Becky Jackson (Jeffrey), Whitney Crawford and Haley Crawford, eleven great grandchildren, Brison Crawford, Abby Jackson, Payton Jackson, Cody Hamilton, Justin Hamilton, Kasey Hamilton, Dylan Durham, Brittany Pitts, Heather Pitts, Jessica Pitts and Andrew Durham, two sisters, Betty Sue Fletcher and Avanell Becton of Valdosta. Mrs. Crawford is predeceased by her husband, Ross Landers Crawford, her son, Ricky Lee Crawford, her great granddaughter, Kylie Brook Durham and her sister, Clarice Arnold.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at three p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Thomas Ruffin officiating.
