Marie Louise Groves Mackie, 96, formerly of Valdosta, passed away Wednesday November 17, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Ok. She was born April 9, 1914 in Springhill, Arkansas to Merlie and Bessie Akins Groves. Mrs. Mackie was predeceased by her husband Ervin F. Mackie.

Survivors are her children, Mary Mackie Kepford (Perry), Bessie Mackie Cutter (Howard), David Mackie, Joy Mackie Oxyer, Ervin L. Mackie (Jean), Tom L Mackie (Joy); grandchildren Randy, Chris, James, Tiffany, Jennifer, Lisa, Scott, Corey, Gary, Erik and Tara and numerous great grandchildren.

Graveside services and committal will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 2 p.m. at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
