Marie George Beam

On January 13, 2015, our sweet, wonderful mother, Marie George Beam was eagerly welcomed into heaven to be with her Lord by her beloved husband, Kent Lee Beam, Sr., her parents Carlo and Sadie Mansour George, her sister Clementine and our darling Shayna along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and brother and sister-in-laws that she so dearly loved. Marie was born in Valdosta, Georgia and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, a member of the Catholic Women's Center and the Historical Society.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Roxanne Beam, two sons and a daughter in law, Carlo and Shirley Beam and Kent Beam, Jr. all of Valdosta, seven grandchildren, Carlo Beam, Jr., Kent Lee Beam III, Alexis Danielle Beam, Kenzie Brooke Beam, Mariah Beam, Steve B. Hall III and Derice Swilley, two sisters and brothers in law, Gloria and Paul Neuda and Barbara and Carl Shapiro all of Valdosta, two sisters in law, Gonza Lahood of Valdosta and Sue Phillips of Charlotte, NC, six great grandchildren, Cy Beam, Carlo Beam III, Cade Beam, Ivey Hall, Dayton Hall and Nick North, special cousins, Sister Angela and Leona Abood and several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at eleven a. m. at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
