Marianne Faith Eilders

Faith Eilders, 31, of Hahira, died on Friday, August 24, 2007, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Summerville, Georgia, on November 21, 1975, Mrs. Eilders had lived in Lowndes County since 1995. She was a homemaker and had recently received a Masters Degree in Social Work from Valdosta State University. She was a member of Alpha Delta Mu and Phi Alpha, National Social Work Honor Societies. She attended church at the House of Joy. Survivors are her husband, Shaun Eilders, daughters, Annie and Molly Eilders of Hahira; her parents, David and Beth Romine of Trion; sister and brother in law, Angie and Ethan Hutchens of Summerville; grandmothers, Ann Grogan and Minnie Wardlaw of Summerville; parents in law, Tim and Delores Eilders of Navarre, Florida; brother in law and sister in law, Martin and Carrie Eilders of Mary Esther, Florida; sisters in law and brother in law, Missy and Ryan Kemp of Milton, Florida, Tina Eilders of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; nieces and nephews, Jacob and Kaitlyn Hutchens of Summerville, Madaline Eilders of Mary Esther, Florida, Ryan and Katie Kemp of Milton, Florida. Her grandfathers, Sam Wardlaw and Duel Romine preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2007, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Pastor Kelly Barcol will officiate. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Georgia Sheriffs Boys Ranch.
