Margueritte Smart Fletcher

Margueritte Smart Fletcher, 90, of Valdosta died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Oconee, Washington County, Georgia on December 31, 1926 to the late William Edward and Nannie Lou Everett Smart and had lived in Valdosta for many years. Mrs. Fletcher was a retired Department Manager with Wal Mart. She loved her children and family who was her life, enjoyed puzzles, quilting and reading.
Survivors include her son, John Fletcher of Valdosta; four daughters and two sons in law, Donna Martin, Wanda and Bobby Dan Tomlinson all of Valdosta, Janet and Buddy Register of Cobbtown, GA, Sheldia Sessions of Myrtle Beach, SC; 9-grandchildren, 8-great grandchildren and 2-great great grandchildren; one sister, Sara Elizabeth Fletcher of Valdosta; two brothers, Allen Smart and Everett Smart. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Fletcher.
