Marguerite Ann Strickland Wisenbaker, 88, of Dasher, died Monday, March 3, 2008 at Heartland Hospice in Macon. Born on April 11, 1919 in Miami, FL, she was the daughter of the late Charles Claton and Nellie Louise Strickland. She was a member of WOFSY, the Red Hat Society and the Best Grandma Society. Mrs. Wisenbaker was a member of Dasher Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Leon Sizemore of Birmingham, AL, Anita and Mike Armstrong of Dasher, Glynese and Will Rios of Macon; grandchildren and their spouses, Stacy and Mark Weeks of Nashville, TN, Sally Sizemore of Birmingham, AL, Kari and David Barry of Valdosta, April and Tommy Herring of Naples, Clint Purdy of Valdosta, Nick Rios and Sarah Rios, both of Macon. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Woody, Casey and Maggie Weeks of Nashville, TN, Craig and Tayte Barry of Valdosta, Thomas Herring of Naples and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Wisenbaker was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Wisenbaker, great granddaughter, Kailey Alysse Barry; two brothers, Raymond (Bud) Strickland and Charles C. Strickland.
Services will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Dasher Church of Christ with Mr. David Nelson and Mr. Nicholas Rios. Burial will follow in Dasher Cemetery.
