Margie Marie Joss

Margie Marie Joss, 69, of Statenville, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2005, at South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Selma, North Carolina on July 21, 1936, she had formerly lived in Cleveland, Ohio and was a homemaker.

Survivors are her husband, Robert Joss of Statenville, her mother, Ruth Brewer Eason of Selma, North Carolina, her children, Anne Greene and George Peterson of Lake Park, Donna Greene and Joe Lawrence of Americus, David and Deanne Greene of Lake Park, Sharon and Dennis Menke of San Diego, California, Eric and Marsha Joss of Camas, Washington, a sister, Jean Dale of Selma, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mrs. Joss was preceded in death by her father, Walter D. Gooch and a daughter, Debbie Greene Simmons.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2005, at 2 p.m. at McLane Lakewood Funeral Home. Reverend Keith Sandlin will officiate. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
